Before your tattoo appointment, stay hydrated, eat a full meal, and avoid alcohol. Arrive with clean skin and do not apply lotion, oil, or numbing cream unless approved by your tattoo artist.
After your appointment, follow the tattoo aftercare instructions provided by your artist. Keep the area clean, avoid picking or scratching, and stay away from swimming, soaking, and direct sunlight while the tattoo is healing.
